Moose lake state park is effected by glaciers do to its glacier till 

Moose Head and Echo lake all created do to the glaciers that passed through moose lake about 40 miles from duluth

about two million years ago, the great ice age began as periodic glaciers advanced into the region from the north. As they ground across them area, they change the landscape dramatically, especially by removing the whole basin now occupied by lake superior.

much later, starting about 2 mil years ago, a series of glaciers came across the landscape creating the lake superior basin and molding the hill sand valleys of the uplands. Finally water filled the now ice-free basin,and streams eroded the river valleys.

St. Louis river the bank was dug do to glaciers.
