Erosion and Deposistion

Moose lake state park is effected by deposistion do to glaciers till

Moose head and echo lake all created do to the glaciers that passed through Moose lake,MN about 43 miles from Duluth,MN(erosion ice)

About two million years ago,the great ice age began as periodic glaciers(up to a mile thick) advanced into the region from the north. as they ground across the area, they changed the landscape dramatically, especially by removing the whole basin now occupied by lake superior (ice erosion)(gooseberry state park)

The water-eroded gorge, steep valleys, and massive rock formations.

Much later, starting about 2 mil. years ago, a series of glaciers came across the landscape creating the Lake Superior Basin and molding the hills and valleys of the uplands. Finally, water filled the now ice-free basin, and streams eroded the dramatic river valleys. (split-rock state park)
